Initial consultation
An initial consultation typically will take approximately 40-45 minutes to complete. The initial exam will include all of the following:

A detailed history of your present illness or reason for visiting the doctor.

A detailed past medical history

review and discussion of current medications

Review of body systems with a focus on cardiac symptoms.

Physical exam

If needed, review prior cardiac testing reports, doctor notes, and blood work. (Reports may be emailed to me before our visit or can be brought with you on the day of your visit.)

Physical exam.

Formulation of my impression of your cardiac condition/status and future treatment plan recommendation of diagnostic testing if needed.

Any testing, such as Electrocardiogram, Stress testing, Echocardiogram, Cardiac monitor, blood work, etc., would be additional. Please refer to the price menu.
Follow up office visit (level I)
A level I follow-up visit will typically take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Most follow-up visits fall under this category and may include the following:

A review of the interim health-related events since the prior visits.

Updating of prior medical history.
-
Review of any interim changes in the medication list.

A cardiac-focused review of systems.
-
Review any new cardiac tests or lab tests that may have been performed during your last visit.

Cardiovascular-focused physical exam.

Formulation of my impression of your cardiac condition/status and plan of care and a recommendation for diagnostic testing if necessary.
Follow up office visit (Level 2)
A level 2 visit will include the same elements as a level 1 visit, with the only difference being the time spent during the visit, typically between 20-30 minutes.
